11-Year-Old with Cerebral Palsy Climbs Great Wall of China

This month, Taylor Walker-Lear, an 11-year-old Australian diagnosed with cerebral palsy spastic diplegia, climbed the Great Wall of China. After conquering Australia’s highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko, in 2015, the young girl challenged herself to walk the Great Wall. Aided by a walker and her parents, Taylor explored the Mutianyu section of the wall for over an hour. “I’m really tired, but proud,” she stated, adding that The Great Wall was more impressive that she had imagined.
