With Thanksgiving just around the corner, a nine-year old boy with cerebral palsy has experienced the true meaning of the holiday. Travis Holbert navigates the halls of his elementary school in a wheelchair, as his condition inhibits his ability to walk, which makes it difficult for his parents to get him in and out of the car to drive him to school. Just in time for the holidays, Travis and his family were gifted a new wheelchair-accessible van at a school assembly, donated by BraunAbility, Superior Van, and Ally Financial. Smiling through her tears of gratitude, Travis’ mother Melissa said she “couldn’t be more thankful this year.”
