Rival Oklahoma high school basketball teams faced off Friday night in a game that ended with both sides of the bleachers cheering. With under a minute left in the game, Lainy Frederickson, a special needs senior on the Norman High School women’s basketball team, was called onto the court. After a couple of attempts and encouragement from her teammates, Lainy sank a one-handed basket and the crowd went wild! “Everyone was happy to see that she got in the game,” said senior Darieana Hunter. “She was so happy that she cried…Everybody deserves a chance to do what they love. Playing this game is what she loves.”
