An Oklahoma family has filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against the OU Physicians group for damages their son Henry allegedly sustained during the labor and delivery process. At one year old, Henry was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The family was shocked to receive a letter from the medical care group indicating that OU Physicians group will no longer treat Henry, now three years old, but also his entire family due to the lawsuit. Subsequently, the family has filed a restraining order against the medical group; however, finding medical care outside of the OU Physicians group for Henry has been very difficult. “He’s very happy, he’s very busy and active, he’s very personable,” his mother, Keri said of Henry. “If you’ve ever met Henry, I mean how could you deny him care? How could you not want to help him?”
