27-year-old Adam Warner, who has cerebral palsy, will achieve a milestone this month by competing in the 8th Annual Tri Ballantyne in Charlotte, North Carolina. Adam will be accompanied by fellow participant Tanya Clark during the 12.7 mile bike ride portion of the triathlon. This race is the first time that Clark will participate with Warner. “I actually passed them on the bike course, and I was in awe. I was amazed,” she said. Despite long odds, Adam is relishing the opportunity and inspiring other triathletes, one race at a time.
