Not only is the month of March Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, but Wednesday, March 25, 2015 marks National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day. In honor and support of those affected by the non-progressive neurological and physical disorder, Congress has authorized March 25th as a day to celebrate those who live with cerebral palsy and contribute so much to our society. The public is encouraged to wear green on Wednesday to raise awareness of the condition and to support non-profit groups such as United Cerebral Palsy and the Ronald McDonald House, which provide much-needed support to those affected and their families.
