It was nine-year old George’s time to shine on the soccer pitch last week when he scored a goal during halftime in front of his favorite Premier League team, Everton. The young fan has cerebral palsy, a condition that makes it difficult for George to control muscle movement and posture, but it didn’t shake his confidence. The stands erupted with applause as George dribbled the ball towards the net and took his shot, no doubt inspiring courage in others with disabilities to realize their dreams, too.
